The SafeHip® Soft is a revolution in hip protection. The key features of the SafeHip Soft is its unique horseshoe shaped hip shield that incorporates AirX™ spacer fabric to protect the hip from lateral falls.
What is AirX? AirX is a three dimensional spacer fabric that is ideally suited to absorb impacts and cushion the body from falls. One of the unique features of this material is that it has the ability to wick moisture away from your skin, helping to keep you cooler while wearing SafeHip. This soft, lightweight material follows the contours of your body, conforming to your shape that results in a better and more comfortable fit.
The Unisex model is ideal for residents for hospitals and nursing home. It saves on inventory since it is designed to be worn by both men and women. The SafeHip Soft combines the ultimate comfort, breathability and safety to meet fracture reduction requirements and should be part of a fall prevention program. The hip shield is sewn in and remains in place during normal activities.
The SafeHip Soft can be machine washed at temperatures up to 200° and can be machined dried at high heat cycles. Available in six sizes.
