Great for wandering patients. The Door Alarm alerts the caregiver when patient is trying to leave a room or get into room that is "off-limits". Alarm sound immediately when the door is open. System utilizes Basic Pull Cord Alarm technology. The pull cord is replaced with a cord that has a tweezer-like sensor on the end of the cord. The sensor is placed between the door and the door jam. When the door is opened the sensor separates, activating the alarm. A loud, 110 dB alarm can be heard over background noise. On/Off switch deactivates the alarm. Comes with Velcro® strips to attach alarm to door jam. Uses a 9 Volt battery, sold separately.
